Under the Direction of Butch Mestemacher and Mary Liszewski, practices for the Granite City Concert Band will be starting on Thursday, September 4, 7pm.
We are looking for anyone who would like to play in a concert band… all ages and talent. Dust off your instruments and reconnect with your musical skills! We perform 6 concerts throughout September to May in the Metro East area. You can play the whole year, or you can do a six week practice and play a concert.
Rehearsals are on Thursday nights at St. John’s United Church of Christ: 2901 Nameoki Rd, Granite City, IL. Bring your own instrument and music stand.
We are in great need of Trombonists and an oboist!
The first concert is October 18 at SWIC in Granite City: 4950 Maryville RD at 7pm
